Important SIDS information

UPDATE (Jan 9/09):
For those who have inquired, this research is backed by scientific studies published in reputable medical and science journals. You can find an article here that cites the publications at the end of the article.

Original Post:

I don't know why I haven't posted about this before, but I started a business 7 years ago that sold very important SIDS products. I no longer own it or have any affiliation to it, I gave it to a friend of mine (we were partners in this business at the time) when I was pregnant with my fourth baby. It was getting too busy and was digging into my homeschooling and homemaking time. It wasn't a cottage industry, more like a job.

The reason I'm writing this is because I was just looking at a blog I enjoy reading, Are they all yours?, and was reading some info on SIDS. Anyway, it dawned on me that I have never blogged about this very important research. Once upon a time, I was a microbiologist (in training), and when I left my feminism beliefs, I left that career behind. I then started a business after doing a year of research on SIDS. Only to give it up later. I don't have time now to blog about the research, but you can read the article I wrote 7 years ago here: http://www.babysake.com/. Just scroll down the page to read it. The website is still the original that I designed, but I have no part in it now. However, I still believe in the product and am certain that Dr. Sprott has found the cause and solution to SIDS. Check it out! Goodnight :)

This is very interesting, thank you! I was reading the information on the website and was intrigued. I'll have to look into it more thoroughly over the next couple of days.

Thank you for the information. It makes me want to get a cover for my own bed, too. It seems that if these gasses can kill infants, they can't be exactly healthy for adults. What do you think?

P.S. I have also started trying to wake up earlier. Because of DH's work schedule, 4 isn't feasable, but I am working toward 5 now! It is so much better!
